In 2014 we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Shemordan. I used to think that everything was familiar to me in my homeland. In fact, it turned out that I know very little about my native place. So, I decided to learn more about its unique history, glorious culture and present daily life. Learning to understand your native land is not an easy task. I did my research looking through the archive references, the articles from some newspapers, and a lot of books from our local library and old albums. Now I really have a feeling of belonging to my homeland. So, that is what I’ve got.
